Mahadevi: Return to the Source

Philosophy based Yoga + Mantras

With Claire Missingham and special guest Pujari Satish Rayal

Claire and Pujari Satish return to the Yoga Tree for this very special ‘Mothering’ practice.

The goddess (Devi) is both the source and the affirmation of life, symbolic of our internal struggles and corresponds to the dynamic processes of sadhna (spiritual practice). She represents our physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and, much like any mother figure, Devi is the source of our spiritual illumination and final liberation.

In our special workshop, we honour all forms of ‘Mothering’ - Shiv and Shakti are within all of us as is our ability to love ourselves and give and receive pure love from a place of healed pain. You will know, the concept of your “Mother” is the most important relationship you will experience. This is not biological, this is spiritual. The deepest connection to the Self.

Devi is the eternal upholder of Dharma and truth, the promoter of happiness and the giver of salvation and prosperity but also of sorrows, grief and pain. She removes obstacles and worries and renders Her devotees’ path detriment free. This workshop is to honour us mothering ourselves and giving thanks to Divine Mother and Mother Ganga.

You will feel us support you, care for you and give you the strength to carry on through hardship and challenge. The divine mother is always there within your heart.

Jahnavi Claire Missingham has a unique ability to bring the philosophical roots of yoga alive and make them authentic and accessible to all.

You will experience Yogic Theory and Philosophy, beautifully sequenced Intermediate Vinyasa yoga with any modifications needed and it brings us the most joy to share the Vedic traditional mantras and chants with visiting teacher Pujari Satish Rayal from India, a Brahmin Shiva priest with a degree and MA in Sanskrit teaching the traditional mantras with devotion, deep connection and precision.

Please bring a photo of anyone in your life that represents the Mother energy to you.
